8 years in a relationship will teach you a lot of things about yourself, but only after it's over. The last 5 months, without the girl i thought i was going to be with forever (i will refer to her simply as Satan from this point forward), has been a real eye opener for me. I think what stands out most in this learning experience is that you have to know who you are before you can expect others to know. Satan wasnt sure exactly what she wanted to be or even WHO she wanted to be. When i first met Satan she was hanging out with my roommate - well, in some sense of the word... anyway - come to find out, one drunken evening, she admitted to me that the only reason she was hanging with the roommate was to be close to me - needless to say, i am male...
i recently found out, from a mutual friend, that no matter what i did to make our relationship work she would only make it harder for me.
Today, however, is a new day.

Sad, ain't it?!!
I think i need to make up a survey to give to the next girl about her life and where she wants to go... i dont want to say i'm bitter...but...
