hello..

well today i worked and learned all about the inside of a clock. i was WAY too confident going into this!! it is fun for me, but much more intricate than i ever expected. and i knew it would be difficult. sooo many tiny little parts that are delicate and have to be just so. but as i've said many times, i love a challenge! i'm impressed with my friend who owns the shop...he taught himself this art/trade! i was thinking about this fact as i sat there with a clock movement in a thousand pieces today, and he said..."alright, now put it back together." yikes! haha
it was fun though. and i don't mind meticulous work, so it's all good!

i also had a business meeting with this man in roanoke today. he has made an offer for me to run a cool consignment shop downtown. but...he happens to be the biggest asshole in business around these parts. no shit. but he has all these cool ass things that would be at my disposal to create with. like, old pinball machines, betty boop statues, elvis statues, crazy old advertisement art, signs, posters, you name it, he has it there in this old building. so it's tempting...even though he is a dangerous business person to get involved with.
