i can't believe the death count from the earthquake/Tsunami. thousands...how incredibly devastating. i was reading some of the survivors stories about when the wave hit. so fucking scary...they described a huge wall of sea water coming at them with no warning, carrying boats, parts of piers, etc...these people just grabbed thier children and started running in the opposite direction. no escape, no warning. apparently the Asian authorities didn't do everything possible to warn people and save lives. pretty fucked up if you ask me.

it's so sad...
