**Warning...This entry is full of sarcasm and bitching**
I got the job at the Country Club! Hooray!! I'll be serving/bartending there. I am so incredibly relieved, and will be even more so after my first paycheck! They pay $7.50 an hour (instead of the usual $2.13 per hour for a waitress) plus tips. Not too shabby. Especially considering how much money those rich folks have to throw around in tips. I better start practicing my schmoosing and brown-nosing skills.
And this piece of advice just has to be said while I'm on the subject of the Country Club....
To the middle-aged women at the CC, you do not look hot in tennis skirts! And why the hell do you wear them all day...hours after your "workout" (yeah, we really know that was actually mimosas and lunch) You only look like an older woman desperately clinging to your youth by way of a short skirt. It's actually kinda painful to see.
And just when I think I have evolved...I regress back to making fun of rich women. *Sigh*
I have gotten behind on so many bills, I'm being threatened with "legal action" by at least two places. It's funny how businesses automatically assume that everyone/anyone in the universe can pull $500 out of their asshole when needed. I don't know about you...but I haven't started shitting golden eggs yet! I contacted every place that I owed money after my accident, and explained my situation, as well as explaining that I would have no means to make payments for at least 3 months after the accident while my back was healing. Now...I am a realistic person, and I didn't expect them to just write me off for a few months, and be completely understanding. I just become frustrated when someone who I have just told that I have been unemployed and healing from a car accident for three months expects me to be able to.."pay a minimum of $515 dollars by Feb 1st, or the company will start legal proceedings..." So my question is this.... Where exactly do they think a person that has been in my situation is going to get that kind of money right away? Frustration!! I'll work it out. Somehow I always do.
Enough about my money troubles.
On to positive things...
My second date with Mr. Filmaker was Saturday. I have such a crush on him now. Is it still a crush if you are actively dating? Just curious. Anyway, we just hung out here and watched cool movies and talked all night long. It was great!! I'm looking forward to my next date.
These things make me happy.......First dates on Friday the 13th, 13 mix Cds, and 13 kisses.
Bye for now my dears...
