I am now the proud parent of a little lop ear bunny named Boris. I am impressed with this little rabbit! He is very, very laid back...he loves to be held and cuddled...he isn't afraid of the dog...he is just so goofy and cute!!!
***I'm like the abominable snowman right now***
"I'll hug him and squeeze him and call him Boris"

Anyway, Boris is super cool. I never knew that bunnies have so much personality!! It's fantastic! He knows me already, and when I come over to his cage to feed him or take him out he stands up on his hind legs and greets me, and I put my hand out for him to sniff before I pet him, and then he always licks me. Little wet bunny kisses! Ha-ha!

Well....I am in no way ready for the gift giving holiday! I have procrastinated like a champ and am now not left with much time to finish making my presents.

There are a few things that bother me about xmas....
I dont like that hypocritical christians try to be nice "during the holidays" and every other time of the year these same people are mean and judgemental. And do absolutely nothing to help fellow humankind. It's like they get a "Get out of Jail Free" card for the entire year if they are nice to a few people in December. Bullshit if you ask me!! I also don't like the consumerism that surrounds the holiday. Buy, buy, buy...whether you want it, need it, or you are giving it away...just keep buying more and more useless junk. I mean we could start building masses of subdivisions out of all the crap...barbie dolls, foot massagers, pocket flashlights, that ugly lamp that was re-gifted and given to you by a distant relative or a sister-in-law...no thought, no craft, just fulfilling an obligation to give a gift for the season. Of course, this isn't always the case, and there are a few people out there who put thought and time into their gifts, and enjoy doing something nice for the sake of just being nice and thoughtful.
Enough about that...sorry. Don't mean to offend anyone. This is my opinion and observation of the holiday.
Well, I'm gonna go play with the dog and the bunny...
Meet Boris the bunny.
Take are all!

At work there's been a lot of talk of the "Merry Christmas" versus "Happy Holidays" greetings. Our Christian stations have made it a point to always say "Merry Christmas" because the season is about Jesus Christ. Do you feel offended if someone wishes you a Merry Christmas? In my mind, I take it as a pleasant greeting and not a message of "Let's give thanks that Jesus is our Savior". I don't think saying 'Happy Holidays' takes anything away from Christmas or Jesus, I just think it's a more accepting thing to say. What are your views on the matter. -dave
