So there's a Tibetan throat singing version of Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division. The name of the band is Yat-Kha. Here's a link to the file. Wonderful. I see a scene with Tom Waits drinking. A desultory game of pool on scruffy felt. A smoking shopworn female bartender. All the pain of the world held in that silence. Then. Someone wins tha lotto.
Went back to work today. Two weeks felt like a blissful sleep-in eternity. Seattle and home. Moving people and doing aerosol opium. Love, love will tear us apart again. All tha ones I missed and all tha ones that I'll never see again. Twas. Fun.
Shout soon & see if Stella's got her groove back,

i seem to remember that the interesting thing about it was that the one singer could make two separate, distinct pitches simultaneously with his one voice. alas, i cannot listen to the audio, because my speakers are broken...but i know the sound you are referring to.
i also most of the day off today to sleep...so i am feeling you in that respect as well.
