Got back in town after a really amazing weekend. I've been so tired that it's all I can do to just mope around and be slothlike. I feel so rundown and I wish I just could take the week off. Of course, if I did that I probably wouldn't do much except lay in bed under my covers and listen to music...I suppose that's not necessarily a bad thing though Got to hang out w/a certain someone and it was very cool to finally meet up after so much anticipation. The only thing that sucks is the simple realization that we both live so far away from each other...
frustrating. Very frustrating.
On a side note, I found out last night that my Blazer will go no faster than 100mph during a high speed drag down the highway that was entirely uncalled for and very spontaneous. This sort of pisses me off as I know it is capable of going much, much faster. Damn speed-limiters. Now I feel compelled to take the speed-limiter out if at all possible. But would this mean I would need to drive at speeds in excess of 100mph more often? How long could I hold onto my license and avoid jail-time if the temptation was there to go as fast as my vehicle would allow? Decisions decisions. It might be in my best interest to just keep it the way it is. Avoid those impromptu street races. Somehow I just cannot get enough kicks out of knowing I drive an SUV that will hold its own against a car half its size. Funny stuff. That is until I hit a retaining wall at ridiculous speed and rip the vehicle in half and die in a bloody gory mess. Sometimes you just gotta walk the line, though.
Tonight I met up w/a gallery owner for a new gallery opening up here in town and the meeting went really well. I'm pretty excited about having the opportunity to finally show off the work I've been doing over the years. Now comes the hard part of getting it all together in time...
