Had an eventful week. Got in about 5:00 am last night after seeing George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars. What can I say? I'm just pissed I missed them the last 3 times they were around. I uploaded pix from both the Guided By Voices and P-Funk. My Guided By Voices pix are decent- as I was off to the side of the stage. My P-Funk pics, however, are terrible. Attest that to too many screwdrivers and "smoky-vision". Fuck it, I had a great time. On the way back from the show, I'm drivin down Broad St and this cop almosts t-bones me. If I hadn't been in the middle lane, the fucker would have slammed right into my passenger side. Then he had the nerve to try and tail me so he could run my plates. Fucker.
So of course, we still got some great shows coming up- Dillinger Escape Plan, Clutch, Strokes, etc. etc. I'll be sure to upload pics as I get the chance. I'd write a little more about the shows I went to this past week, but so much happened that I'll have to save it for a time when I can sit down and write through it all. Until next time....
