Alright so I wanted to update yesterday, but I was too worn out to care. THIS WEEKEND ROCKED MY MOTHERFUCKING SOCKS OFF! yeah. It was hectic as hell, but well worth the running around. Saturday was definitely sort of a trying day, but ended well. I spent most of Saturday morning installing wiring and getting things together to hook up power to my stove in the kitchen. After several hours, I still don't have power as I need new breakers for my main power box. Unortunately, the box is old as hell, and could probably stand to be replaced. The amount of money I'll wind up spending to hook it up is alot more than I expected, and I probably should have just gone with a new gas-powered stove. But whatever, it's all an investment in the end. I spent way too much time fucking around getting things together for my stove and got a much later start than I would have liked. I had to go to Dayton and finalize my art setup for the show that night. Its funny because I couldn't even be at the show. Cut to the basics....it all worked out in the end. I got the setup done with at the last minute and then busted down to Hamilton at the speed of light. Why would anyone want to drive super fast to get to.....Hamilton? Because that's where my babydoll lives and I had a mucho-important concert to attend. We both had tickets to see Pearl Jam and I wasn't about to miss the show. We got to the show with enought time to get drinks and find seats shortly before Pearl Jam took the stage. The show was good, but not nearly as bad-ass as the last time I saw them. It was unusual for me to see them indoors as the last 2 times I saw them it was outdoors. I can honestly say, the sound wasn't nearly as good as I would have liked. Too much reverberation. It just happened to be where we were seated, because upstairs the sound was perfect. Eddie was drunk as usual and had some great stage antics, like smashing a microphone stand, chugging several bottles onstage, wiping his ass with a Rolling Stone magazine, and falling down several times. The best was when he was about to introduce Leash, and was like "this next song we're about to play is....uh...uh...the next song...." Yeah. Eddie you fucking lush.
The concert was definitely worth it, though, and I was happy I went. Afterwards, we went to the Comet and got some tasty food and then retired back to Micah's sister's house to watch Trekkies (God those people are freaks....good to know there are people out there way weirder than I could ever be).
The next day involved a long, high speed trek across Ohio from Hamilton to Columbus, where we stopped at my house briefly, and then up to Cleveland to the House of Blues. Despite the distance involved, the drive wasn't bad, and we got to Cleveland much earlier than I anticipated. I had never been to the HOB Cleveland before, and found that I was very impressed with the sound there. Everything sounded great, however, I wish I had brought earplugs. My ears were still ringing this morning! WTF! We were there to see Revolting Cocks, and more importantly, Ministry. This was my fifth time seeing Ministry, and it was by far the best Ministry concert I have seen. The band Al has pieced together is definitely a well-oiled machine, and provided a non-stop assault on the senses. The only time I can think of that compared was when I saw Ministry in NYC when Ogre from Skinny Puppy made a special appearance and closed the set out. The show was phenomenal and set list was great! I'm so fucking ready to see them again next Monday July 3rd. Somehow I don't think the sound will be as good at the Newport, but I don't fucking care. I didn't do any moshing at this show, but I have a good feeling I will be next week, as thinking about seeing them again really gets me pumped up.
And speaking of pumped up....Damn we had some good sex afterwards! We got back late after a long drive and eating at Denny's, and still managed to get down and dirty in bed with quite possibly some of the best sex I've had in a long, long time. Just thinking about it gets me all hot and bothered...
...and according to my doctor, avoiding stress and finding ways to relieve anxiety is exactly what I need right now. I went to the an allergist today as I've had problems with hives all month and was informed that the cause of my problems was high anxiety and stress. The fact is, I noticed last week that after getting busy, my hives got noticeably better, stopped itching, and lost the redish color they had. Cheers to getting laid! Its good for my health! ...and my girlfriend thought I was making things up....
Tommorow night I'm seeing another show. I'm going with Lacy to see NIN for the 3rd time this year. I'm really cramming in every opportunity to see them, as NIN isn't prone to touring alot these days. I expect it to be a good show. Somehow, this will be the opposite of the Pearl Jam show in the fact that I've seen NIN multiple times, but never have seen them outdoors. Hopefully, it won't have the same sort of negative effect as seeing Pearl Jam indoors had. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Alright, time for my ass to get to sleep. I gots things to do tommorow.

I wish our drive to the D to see them went as well as yours to Cleveland. Ours sucked ass. We got stuck in traffic for like an hour. The good news was that we only had to hear one song of Pitbull Day Care. That is still a seriously bad band name. Seriously.
Have fun at NIN tomorrow.
Hope to see you for Cedar Point!
See ya tomorrow, or well today!
