Sitting here in NYC in bed updating because I cant sleep, the suns glaring in my eyes, and the pigeons outside keep making cooing sounds like a grown man having an orgasm (yuck)....so I figured what the hell....why not update? Thanks to everybody that gave me b-day wishes. It was nice to see people remember little ol' me. I might even have a little bit of spare time to catch up on my comments! Yay! Anyways, things are starting to get a little less hectic for me, so you might just start seeing me back online a little bit more regularly.
Tonight's my gallery opening at The Agora Gallery in Soho, NYC. I've been waiting for this day now for months....I'm anxious to see what goes down, and a little bit nervous. I just might be hitting up the wine and champagne a little bit heavy tonight. I've spent a lot of time getting prepared for this, so I hope all goes well. I've also got my own website up (sort of) FUSIONFACE.COM
that will eventually have my portfolio online to support what I'm doing at the gallery. Please feel free to check out both links listed, as they do direct you to my work.
Other than that, I'm here until Sunday, and get to deal w/cold, bitter weather, and the possibility of a transit strike (oh fucking joy), so I have somewhat mixed feelings about how this vacation is turning out as of yet. I'm still going to try and make the best of the situation and have a good time while I'm here...hopefully I won't be broke by the time I leave. So far I got to go to Rockefeller Center and see the ice skaters and Christmas tree, and do the tourist thing in Times Square. I also plan on exploring the Lower East Side and making another trip out to CBGB's before we leave, so I'm sure we'll find plenty to do despite the bullshit with the MTA going on strike. I'll be sure to post another update before my trip is over as I'm sure that the possibility of another sleepless morning is in my future...Until then....stay warm.
