guess what! my dog is 3 feet long today. im sure he was yesterday also, but considering that i just remembered about measuring him last week... i assume it continued for today! how quaint.
i went to the hot rod show in austin last weekend. it was so badass-- but i have to say my favorite car wasnt a hot rod at all.... 23 window volkswagen. gorgeous! plus there was a beautifully intact original beach cruisin' woody there. very nice.
my grandpa came along, which is amazing in itself since i cant remember the last time he left the ol' hill-- i learned all about the diffferent grills on cars, how to tell the years, '32 between a '31, deluxe between a standard. i love old cars and i've always wanted to buy an old '69 karmann ghia to fix up, so it was pretty badass that my grease monkey grandpa showed up.
anyway, thought i'd check in.
