i went with my brother to the shedd aquarium today. it was tons of fun! we saw everything the place had to offer, and walked til we had just enough energy to make it to the el. then we went to IHOP with my dad, and i had the best dinner ever. *sigh* great day.

lately i've just been workin. i had a family party this weekend, and there weren't any death matches, so that was good. i also did some christmas shopping and got a lot out of the way. there was a super sale for employees at hot topic, so i bought tons of stuff. other than that, i've just been chillin. my winter break is much deserved, so i'm taking advantage of it by being as lazy as possible.

i had a graduation check last week, and it seems everything's in order for me to graduate in june. i only need to take 6 more classes, and 4 of them are required for my majors. that makes my life easier- i don't have to search for electives to take up space. on a highly perfectionistic note, i'm .006 grade points away from graduating with highest honors. it's totally do-able (grades have way too much importance in my life). well, i'm overdue for a good night's sleep, but i'll try to update more often from now on.
