i've had a very eventful week......lots of work......band practice......family christmas parties......i got new glasses...i've had glasses for years, but i never wore them cause i hated my frames....but i just got new ones. i think i actually like them! i have benefits through the bank that i work at, so i claimed them. $350 glasses for free! pretty sweet.......i'm also gonna' get a massage this week....i just found out that my benefits cover that too!!
now on to the bad news......my drummer quit today!
...after 2 years of playing with us. i won't get into it, but it wasn't pretty. we're all pretty bummed out......and we kinda' feel a little lost. it's hard losing band members....he's the 5th drummer that this band has had.....we lost a bass player last year around this time....it's so frustrating!!!! 
oh well....no sense in dwelling on it.......time to move on.....and besides i'll be basking in australian sunshine in about 2 weeks! things are looking up!
