okay, okay. i do update now....
i saw acid mothers temple monday last week (10-10-05) and they we're awesome. maybe i don't mind songs going on on and on, and hitting the hour mark. maybe sometimes i do. anyways these guys we're so talented it didn't matter. it was like being a fan of a tri-athlon!! oh man, it becomes more about the stamina, the drive, the desire to just fuckin play them long ass songs just to git-er-don. they make psych music like foot sticks of salami make the blue-coller work day...long and painful
as far as chops the bassist alone could have had a solo show. he had a MIDI module on his bass. with it he played therimn, mellotronm and a tabula set!! dude! i diddn't know that stuff could sound so good!! must be some serious laeps and bounds goin' dowm with the software industry...
the opening band was great too. i think i might even like there set better because of all the crazy changes they could pull. the name of the band is called the occasion. really cool down to earth people too.
i want my son to grow in a house full of music.
he already has a ukulele.

Kids should be around music, I heard this fascinating thing on the radio recently about how they understand rhythm and beats from a very young age. My 11 year old sister has great taste in music, thanks tome of course
