Damn, been too long. Lots happened since the beginning of the year.
Got back to work then took a month off to visit family in Texas. Drove down in the truck, and went to some campout weekends. All in all, it was fun getting out on the road and seeing the countryside.
When I came back, I went to a trackday at Sears Point, to get some practice in, for the upcomming AFM race. Unfortunately I ended up having a bad crash and shattered my clavicle and ended up with what they called "a major head injury" (severe concussion). hahahahaha like my head has ever been right anyway.
Repairing myself, and now the docs want to do surgery. Still undecided, might do it, might not. If I do it, I won't be able to race next round at THill and I would be really bummed. Either way, just getting my stuff in order.
I kept asking the docs and nurses if my bike was okay, but because of loss of memory, I kept asking every 5 minutes. This, in turn, annoyed them to no end. hahahaha Apparently my bike was fine. Just need to replace one footpeg and a frame slider. No other damage. I'll have to get photos from the days event. Got a nice one passed out just passed T1.
off to ride my bike. I've only been on the motorcycle once since the crash, felt good and today is too nice and sunny here in San Francisco, not to go ride.
