Off to the track tmrw...just prepping everything, the bike has some new go fast parts and i ran last saturday at the track, to work it in and get a bit of the lost confidence back.
The morning sucked, as i scrubbed the tires in, and felt the bike out for any side effects of unperceivable damage that might have ocurred at the last race.
by mid day, i feel like shit, and am not finding my groove. some suspension work and i went back out on track, and it feels better. the bike is turning better and quicker. we'll see how that translates. by my last session on saturday, i was feeling better and moving thru the track at the speed i normally cover.
tomorrow i will finish dialing in the suspension, and then saturday morning practice, and then clubman race...take two! hahaha shit! if all goes well, i qualify for sunday for the 3 races i've signed up for.
New slicks on friday afternoon, and i'll break them in on saturday practice.
Spent all last weekend after the races having a blast in Nevada.

All was well, and my times were great, until I get called to Race Control, and I'm told that I passed under a yellow flag. WTF!!?!?! Anyway, to make a long story longer....I am now in the process of appealing the decision, since I was drag racing a guy down the front straight, and both of us tucked in, side by side, into T1, fastest turn at Thunderhill Raceway, and I made the pass on the outside of the turn. I saw the yellow flag in the next station, but my pass was already made. So I thought I was all good.
I never saw the prior flag station, cause i was tucked in, with the other bike to my left, directly in my line of sight for that flag station. Bah! frustrating shit. but hell, there is still 2 more races.
Next race will be at my favorite racetrack too...with a full suspension set up, that I worked on, at this last race and practice.
Thanks for asking.
