I think she just has a personal ax to grind and she doesn't want to think about anything remotely relating to incest, for good reasons. The problem is that she can't or won't separate her experience from sex in general, and finds anything that remotely touches on that experience to be disgusting and dirty and wrong. It's like even saying the words cause her to re-live the experience, and it's not the word that did something bad to her, but she wants to eradicate them anyway because they represent something she can't deal with.
And that's the whole fucking POINT of my magazine: talking about things that people are afraid of talking about. It doesn't make sense to deny that these things happen, that people like certain things or don't like certain things. It's much better to talk about your fears than to just pretend they don't exist... at least in my opinion.
