Everything turned out great!
The dog decided to have a run in with some glass (in someone elses yard) and required surgury on his paws. He is fine now with his little bandage booties. Yeah, I was worried, and leaving him at the vet's kennel for pre-op was the saddest. He is always with his family and the look on his face as I was leaving was
. He was shaking too and it made me cry.
Six hours later when I went to pick him up, as I was goin over his meds in the other room, He let out the greatest howl. The tech in the kennel (who was there when I dropped him off) came out and let me know my dog knew I was there, and was loud.
He was so stoned, his tail wagged once every 30 seconds, in the car I had to hold him tight to the back seat so he wouldn't fall over (he refused to lay down.). He just looked out the window with his little glassy eyes goin' WOAH I'm stoned.
He went to sleep when I got him home.
The vet said he was a sweetie with everyone at the clinic while I was gone whew. It all had a happy ending
Hell I fregot; the dogs name is Dominic.
