SO!! This week for @bloghomework I would like to indulge in a little video game talk!
My topic for today for @missy @rambo and @lyxzen !
What Video Games are you currently playing?
Well this is kinda a long one because my main issue with alot of games is i'll get STUCK!! and then try over and over and over to beat it and it just WONT happen!! I will get so frustrated that I need to put it down and walk the freak away!! I have to take a break!! (and then in that break I start something else as a distraction!)
First up!
Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D!!!
Now I'm not stuck on this one, like many others, I've beaten this game a ton of times on n64! I recently bought it for my 3DS and treat it as a sort of "wasting time" game, its like doing a cross word puzzle on the couch to me. Love this game! The masks are my favorite! All the little endless side quests to get really weird masks (which usually only have one purpose and are otherwise useless in the game) makes it a very in depth adventure if you have the time and patience to burn! Although you don't NEED to get all the masks to beat the game, I have to!! Fierce Deity mask whaaaaaat?!
Harvest Moon!!!!!!
oh lord...anyone who knows me, knows that I'm an absolute NUT for virtual farming...i dont know WHY!! all those facebook games, farm ville, farm town, etc etc I spent WAY too much time playing them! Then someone got wise and handed me this game for my 3Ds and WHOOPS! THERE GOES MY LIFE!!! I just love virtual chores! Yet hate real chores and YES, I've done real farm chores before. (holy crap, mad respect for farmers!) but clicking a field to be harvested is far less time consuming HAHAHA! The added bonus I always weirdly love about harvest moon games are that you have love interests in the game. Like I get to hunt down and impress my potential farmer husband. (I'm currently chasing the blacksmith HA!) There's just something about virtually having a farm with acres of land that's just all mine to mess with and no ones buggin me while I'm fishing and feeding my cows and chickens and making insane amounts of virtual farm money so I can buy myself a freaking WINDMILL!!.....just gets me JACKED!!
and for my Final, Im stuck and neverendingly frustrated, playing Bioshock 2!!
I love these games! so much fun! I watched my best friend plow thru one and two once upon a time and decided I really wanted to take a shot at 2, it looked like so much fun!!! EXCEPT!!! When I started the game I went all gung-ho war bent thru the first few levels not so much paying attention to my ammo or eve levels AT ALL!! I was the MASTER!!! (or so I thought...) I intended on FLYING through it like it was nothing, I excessively used all my mines. Had a fire fight with a bunch of people and now......im stuck. How did I do this? well ill tell you! when one gets cocky with a game....blows thru all their ammo and magic abilities etc and FINALLY beats a fight like by the skin of my teeth, barely any health left but I go through!!....what do you do? OH! you SAVE that shit!! and i did! except oh look! a little sister to protect! sweet! oh no wait.........I have nothing to fight with...the second that little sister starts harvesting HERE COMES ALL THESE FOTHER MUCKERS!!! and Im just pummeling them to death with my drill, cuz its all I got left, along with maybe like 4 mines.....oh god, its the worst.....Ive ran backwards from my save point thru the level looking and scavanging for ammo or anything I can use to get thru this fight with NO luck! This game has me stumped....like Ive been picking up and walking away from this game for like 6 months and am starting to slowly come to terms that I may have to reset and start over........NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
