I feel I owe it to you all to update this thing, so here goes.
We'll get the bad stuff out of the way first. Last Monday we had to have our oldest dog, Portia, put to sleep. She hadn't really recovered from her stroke and she wasn't eating. I keep telling myself it was the right decision, since she would have just starved to death eventually, but part of me still wonders if it was the right thing to do.
I'm playing Disgaea some more and having quite a bit o' fun. Unfortunately it still has the same problem I find in many RPGs, which is inevitably you have to designate time to just level up your characters before you can progress with the story. But, at least Item World gives you a way to level up without just leveling up.
Still no job forthcoming. I'm waiting for a callback for a part-time job grading tests. It will be boring, but it pays well. I have managed to find one job to send my resume out to, so we'll see how that goes as well.
It looks like I'll be getting together with friends again this weekend. I doubt we'll go to the Claddagh again, but we're going to try to see Shaun of the Dead again since last time we were denied. Right now I think all I can afford right now is a movie ticket.
Being jobless sucks, especially when you have the free time and don't know what to do with it.
