The sentence "Fit in with the outcasts" seems very bizarre to me.

yeah, back in the high school days, i tried my damndest to fit in with the "out" crowd, since i didn't like the popular folk. its pretty ironic that those people were just as judgmental as everyone else.

man, i don't miss high school one bit.
