Milan was amazing. I love traveling alone. It's something i think everyone should do from time to time. It builds up your confidence. And it's a great way to make new friends. Staying in a hostel and checking local facebook groups makes this even easier.

Hey @dabomb3051 start with small steps. Go to a city you haven't been before. Ask strangers for directions. Go to a restaurant alone (take a book with you if it feels to awkward). Then try a weekend trip. I feel lost a lot of times too. But i feel great after doing it anyhow. You will grow. Your selfesteem will improve. And think about all the places you won't see, because none of your friends want to go there. Give it a try. There's nothing to loose. :)

That's great advice @fuechschen! I am definitely going to have to try some of that out. And I totally think about the friends who don't have travel as their priority, it's a bummer.
