I hope everyone had a nice 4th! I worked, however drove up my street and got to watch 3 awesome fireworks displays go off, including the Macy's explosions from my town in Jersey!
That's basically the only thing I've enjoyed since my husband and I moved here over a year ago. The town sucks, and our apartment is essentially a bachelor pad with the smallest 2 closets I've ever seen. So, we're apartment hunting! And it ain't fun! Holy Christ, $1200+ for an apartment with nothing included is a monster ripoff, if you ask me. And we're talking a one bedroom without a washer and dryer, or parking space.. WAH.
On another front, I'm heading to a local go-go joint tomorrow to see about starting a bartending gig there. The club actually belongs to my neighbor, so I'm hoping that even though I have zero experience, he'll give me the benefit of the doubt and try me on for size. If anyone that's reading this is a bartender or has been, any advice is welcomed.
Anyhoo, I've got a couple of photos from my trip to Canada, all of which are from the hoser party my friend threw. I would have more, but I suck at documenting via camera..
