"With the iPhone, everybody could take a great picture and it kind of broke my heart." - Paget Brewster

Paget Brewster doesn’t look like herself on Another Period. The new Comedy Central show, a spoof of Downton Abbey and reality TV shows, has Brewster playing the spinster mother of two party girl socialites at the turn of the century. They are played by Riki Lindhome

William H. Macy directed his second film, Rudderless. His first was the 1988 TV movie Lip Service and it’s surprising to think he hasn’t directed more. He has been an actor for over three decades with over 130 acting credits. Whether you know

Dean Cain is the baddest motherfucker I’ve ever worked with.” - Sylvia

I met the Twisted Twins, Jen and Sylvia Soska, two years ago in Austin when American Maryplayed at Fantastic Fest. I was moved by the story of a medical student (Katharine Isabelle) who found a home in the body modification community, and used it to avenge the wrongs done unto her by

Great interview. I met them at c2e2 in 2013. I liked AMERICAN MARY as well. It's good to see not only are they talented filmmakers, but they're also cute girls that are wrestling fans.

“When I had an income, Paris was cheap.” - Whit Stillman, filmmaker

When we interviewed Whit Stillman for his latest movie, Damsels in Distress, it was his first movie in over 10 years. He told us about the lost decade in which he developed many other films but none of them came together. Fortunately, it only took a few years for Stillman to return, and this

"I got my new fuckin' axes in!" - Jason Momoa, actor/director

When I got an early interview with Jason Momoa to talk about his directorial debut last month, I figured it was just because he had such a busy schedule, he had to do the interview a month early. Now I think they knew his Aquaman casting announcement in Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice

"What other industry would you accept a rate of 68% completion or success?" - Andrew Rossi, director Ivory Tower

“My producers are really interested in trying to make a sequel on a lower budget.” - Mark Waters, director

When Vampire Academy opened in theaters in February, it seemed to fall victim to the glut of teen lit movies, vampire movies particularly. Based on the novels by Richelle Mead, the movie stars Zoey Deutch as Rose Hathaway, a Damphir assigned to protect her Moroi friend Lissa

I read these books and really liked them (until the last one, I felt it was rushed). But I never even heard about the movie!
abjester:
I found the movie didn't really lend itself to any specific fan base at all... I mean friends who read the books said "meh", I said the same as an addict of vampire and lycan lore, and the ladies I know who live and die for teen drama movies had nothing to add... It just felt like a film of fractured identity, thus I couldn't connect with it at any point fully! No one hated it but no one is raving to their friends about it either.
