So aside from three exams that was my second year at university and honestly, who really cares about exams? It has on the whole been pretty good apart from one module. Most of what I study is fascinating and I have discovered an interest in political philosophy. I have also discovered that boats, ships and navies are incredibly dull. At least they are when taught by a Spanish, middle aged, failed air conditioning engineer with bad English. I have discovered exactly how bad a teaching assistant can be. Fortunately everyone else who has taken lectures or seminars has been brilliant.
Aside from my three exams I don't have a lot planned for the summer so here's hoping it's a hot one. As I live so close to it I plan on spending a lot of time on Hampstead Heath. I'l probably be reading for my dissertation next year which, as my question is 'What is the ethical future of Britain's independent nuclear deterrent?', will probably spoil the blissed out mood somewhat.
I have also just started working for my student union as part of their venues team. For the first time ever I have stood on the stressful side of a bar. Due to a failure to plan my time effectively (not for the first time) this week I have found myself working from six until three on Wednesday, writing a two thousand word essay on Thursday and then working from nine until four that night. Right now I am exhausted despite sleeping until two this afternoon. Going to have a lazy few days now which should include a fantastic Easter dinner at my parents on Sunday.
That all sounds looks like a proper journal entry doesn't it? It's about time.

You do realise you've put the kiss of death on the summer now, it will rain and rain and we will flood and sink!
still, maybe someone completely different next year?
