Wow. Just realised how long since I updated. Probably the longest ever for me without me going on holiday. I have no excuses. I hope you coped ok without intimate knowledge of my life. I know it must have been hard.
So anyway loads has been going on. So far living with Kaikai seems like the easiest thing in the world. I am certain I must be annoying her in any number of ways but she is far too brilliant to make me feel bad by telling me. Plus we keep wining the quiz in our local pub which means we are super smart
The flat is ace and is really starting to feel like home. I've only ever really lived in one house for and no where else has ever really felt like it was truly my refuge. For the first time ever my parents house is starting to feel a bit odd to sleep in and I can't wait to get back to London. I've still got loads of my life in the south coast so I'm still there fairly frequently but I'm beginning to get annoyed when my time there drags on a bit. This seems to me like actual progress towards being a real adult. It won't last of course.
Term started last week. There is going to be loads of philosophy this year which means even more reading then last year. The things I have to put up with This term alone I have to read Hobbes, Rousseau and Hume. It's going to be very interesting. I just need to get back into the swing of it, I've lost a little self motivation it seems but a bit of will power should sort that out. I really want to do well this year and studying is so much more fun then working so I'd like to keep doing it for as long as possible. Saying that I'd really quite like a job now as well, rent is a bitch.
Broke my nose again (approximately the trillionth time) playing football the other week. It's fine but my glasses are now resting on a different spot and they are rubbing something horrible. That is about the worst thing that is happening to me. I reckon that means life is pretty good right now.
Oh and we saw Amanda Palmer the other week. She played for 3 hours. Some poorly informed people think that was too long. As far as I am concerned she could still be playing and I would be happy. She was awesome.

Glad the flat is working out.
For the philosophy pick up a copy of Sophie's World - easiest philosophy primer ever and a good read to boot. Anyway you could read Calvin and Hobbes and say you've covered Hobbes AND Calvinism and all you need to know about David Hume is that he could outconsume Schopenhauer and Hegel. Rousseau can fuck off as he sounds more like a renaissance painter.
Ok, but more seriously, track down a copy of this:
