random thoughts part 1.

i saw some great comedy on friday night at the laugh factory. that was the best part, but it was overshadowed by the:
a. hour long wait in line
b. forced to order 2 extremely expensive drinks [i went home with an extra bottled water
]
c. crushed together as they pack in folks as tight as possible in an uncomfortable fashion
d. the huge wait for valet at the end of the night and the massive disorganisation that ensued.
i have to say that norm mcdonald showing up unannounced and doing a set was pretty cool. however the hero of the night was
dane cook - he rocks

i think i would like to be trapped in amoeba records overnight. there is just too much stuff there - i keep getting sucked into the vortex of spending money. i am totally serious! i walked out of the store tonight with *3* box sets [totalling 21 cd-singles] and 16 cds. thats like 37 cd's in total. wtf? can you believe it? i swear i could find about 400 more things i want without a lot of difficulty. i *love* that place.
could you imagine? overnight in amoeba? it would be great. i cant think of anything better right now!
okay. you are right. there could be nothing better than being trapped in amoeba records all night with a hot girl.

should i go to this party? i am pretty content to listen to my new music, have a beer and chill on my own. OR i could go out and be social. hmm. it is truly difficut to decide.
when things get busy at work i have a tendency to chill out on my own - and things are *crazy* busy right at this moment. plus the whole driving thing in LA + drinking just sucks. if i go and want to have a few drinks i immediately commit myself to staying pretty late. of course, i could stay home and get trashed ;-)
i know. sounds tempting.

WTF, over?
lol
Are you saying I was too distracted to be a good semi-host? I hope not. It was great to see you and your friends there, and hopefully everyone had a good time.
Cheers!
