Hello, this is more of a serious blog post.



This is Peanut. He is a very special hedgehog, because he was born without back feet, he just has little nubs that he walks on. He moves around fine and has never had a problem walking.
As of lately, I have noticed that despite the fact that he has been eating well, usually finishing his food after about two nights, he is still losing a lot of weight, and has seemed lethargic. He is at a very unhealthy weight, I can feel his ribs, and he is a bit of an off yellow color on his tummy. I'm not sure if it's due to his house, or if it's liver disease.
I have changed his diet to a high protein grain free kitten kibble, in hopes that he gets back up to a healthy weight, and I hope he will be back to himself within a few weeks. Please send good vibes and keep lil Peanubs in your thoughts, all!
