whew, I'm back.

it's been a crazy whirlwind o' wierdness.

well, I got called in to be 1st assistant on a shoot in studio city yesterday. got paid well. just before I hung up the phone with the photog she asked, "are you comfortable shooting adult work?" oh yeah, it was a full-on boy/girl porn shoot. we even shot a set with a plastic banana

Hoorah! I just got back from a weekend drinkin' in Disney World wit' me fam-damilly. I had giraffes outside my room window. good times, but every single employee told me to "have a magical day!"

six collapes. Three on one side,
and then they had to operate.
Then three on the other, and another
operation. In the first case, they went
in & sewed the lung up. In the second
they found this "bleb" as big as Kansas, which they removed, with all
the surrounding live tissue. Then the
recovery began. Buddhism really helped give me the patience and more
patience I needed to start rebreathing.
I'm really pretty ok now. Somethings I don't know if I ever can do again. But
living to give it all a try. And I know I am a better writer, which is what I gave my life away for, in the first place.

Blessings on us, all. My doctor said
do half as much tomorrow as you planned to do, and then take twice
as long doing it. That was real good
advice.
