One week, wow, one week and I'll be working my last day at Blockbuster and maybe Subway too. Can't say I'm sad, not one bit.
The only thing I'll miss is the people, not the jobs and lack of work I do at them.
Then on Tuesday it's goodbye AZ for what I hope will be the last time, ever. A ton is about to happen that will lead to I have no clue what.
I'm really sad SG has offered NO support of any kind. Not that I was asking for much really. Hell, I wasn't really asking for jack. I like the site (I've got a damn tattoo, I better like it, right?) ANd wanted to do something to kind of spread the word, not that SG is underground any more being on TV (CSI) and such, but still not a ton of people know about it. So I had asked SG if they'd like me to put a patch on my backpack and if asked on our walk tell the asker about SG.com. I even said I'd pay for the darn patch, I didn't ask for anything for free.
The one thing I would have liked them to take me up on was an idea I had to help one of the girls. I had sent an email to them (SG) asking if they'd be interested in setting up some sort of donation account for one of the girls, maybe one having a tough time paying for tuition. So say for each mile we do they put $2 in the account and others could donate too and once we finish she get the money. I don't know, something to kind of give us more of a goal? Oh well, they never replied so that's fine too.
