this came out yesterday, and i just wanted to blog about it here. i downloaded the album about 6 weeks ago when it first leaked and as a huge morrissey fan i have to say it really is his best work this decade and most likely his best album since vauxhall. Anyone who was a morrissey fan and lapsed or anyone who just loves great pop music should get this album immediately, it's truly excellent.

I need to see Synechdoche again b/c I didn't fully absorb it but your post in the group helped me out some. I still haven't seen the 2 Winslet films, which I'm super bummed about. No desire to see Frost/Nixon in the least. Biggest shocker for you: I did NOT enjoy The Dark Knight. I know, I'm like one of 4 people. It just didn't last for me...I felt that it was so long it started to muddle itself.
The Wrestler was my pick for 08, though. I saw it 3 times, cried twice, just loved it so much. What did you think of Mickey's performance? I really pray for him to win the Oscar. I feel like his only competition is Penn who is an awards favorite but I felt that his role could've been played by anybody. I was more moved by the supporting cast.
Are we going to watch the Oscars together??
