THIS POST CONTAINS SERIOUSLY GEEKY STUFF.

Dude, Pokemon Black and White came out yesterday (or 2 days ago, wasn't paying attention) and I thought, what are the odds that there is already a ROM out there? So I googled, found some fakes, and after a while...
TA DA! I have found it! Oh, the joy!!! It is such an incredible game, such graphics, such gameplay! Such... fucking butt ugly Nintendo-ran-out-of-ideas Pokemon (but as a true hardcore Pokemon fan, I'll get used to it and love them eventually. I hope)
And then.... I battle. And I battle again, and again, and again... and my Pokemon doesn't gain EXP! Maybe something wrong with the ROM I had downloaded? No, it seems fine.

Really, Nintendo? Blocking EXP gain as a form of anti-piracy? That is low. That is low and dirty, Nintendo.
But fuck the system and all hail hackers, because I got my anti-piracy patch and tested it, and now I can gain EXP and rip this game to shreds. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Ummm *checks* not yet tongue it'll be funny if it heals but still stays as it is. Then I'll have a pink star on my face forever! lol that's funny

And hellz no! The newer games have (of course) way better graphics and an actual storyline... but if you're not a true Pokemon fan then it doesn't really matter smile

I'm not a true pokemon fan but I appreciate good video games. And I played pokemon red into the ground because the game constantly made you want to see what was just around the corner. But they lost me after I played Pokemon Snap. Maybe I will have to check out the newer games though and see if there is actually something to them.
