today on the walk home from the gym I determined of the 170 people I passed, 27 were wearing shorts or skirts and 143 were wearing jeans, capris or slacks...they are not the best odds in town, but I am prepared to take them....

I have officially declared it shorts day in Kansas. beginning today it is acceptable, if not expected, of you to wear shorts when you are in Kansas.
