Okay, I cannot get on a good sleeping schedule lately. I stay in bed to late, then I can't go to sleep at night. Anyways...
Talked to my advisor about which classes to take in the Spring. So far I've got MATH 112,just the follow up on the class I'm in now; Film 226or227, both film production courses, one is just your basic second film class, and the other deals more with working with actors and directing; and MTEC 285 is a portfolio class, which sounds quite awesome: dealing with setting up your resume, making contacts, putting a reel together, etc... putting a focus on getting work!!!!! Fuck I need that!!! So, I'm geeked now that I'm looking forward to next semester. Plus, I've got a small lead on a job on campus. Nothing yet, but at least I know now who I need to talk to, and Dave(advisor/prof) said he'd follow up, ya know, put in a good word after I let him know I've made the contacts!!!!!
I took two internships years ago when I was in school, and now, well, they aren't going to do any good. The first internship was at a place called Sound EFX...long story short..I found out today that due to my "essay of my experience", they don't send students there anymore. That cracked me up, they call it the Klinger rule! My other internship I found on my own through another job. It was a good experience, but the company since has moved out east, and possibly gone under. So maybe in the fall I'll take another one.
I've got a Math test to take on Monday, that I need to work on tomorrow, then I'm going to a football game with my dad and my uncle(if it's not raining), then Saturday visiting speedphreak.
Izabelle is all comfy on my lap and purring
Okay, that's all for now, and I think that's enough. Now if only I could get to sleep.
Feel the fear and do it anyways!!
