Happy Unicorn Day! (On April 9th)

Unicorns, or “Stabby Horseys” as I like to call them, have imagery that dates back to the Indus Valley Civilization (about 3300 B.C. to 1300 B.C.), I have learned from my 2 seconds searching on Google. They are a mythical creature that apparently excrete rainbows from their hindquarters. But it’s always depicted in a beautiful way.

In honour of the day, and also because it reminded me of a friend of mine, I bought this little plushy from the local 7-11. It’s even got 2 sides to its persona!

And it has earned the place with my other 3 plushies, kept protected from my naked roommates as best I can.

@fredhincanada You already told me about the taxi driver, it is not the norm, but it can be explained, especially depending on the generation. Spain was cut off from the rest of the world for decades after the Civil War and it was only after the end of the dictatorship that something from abroad began to reach Spain, when the rest of Europe was already advanced and open to the free market, anyway it is too long to count, but now it is the generations of those born in...2005.... 2010 who have studied in a bilingual system in schools and not in all... So people of my age who are well educated will speak English, the rest will not, and the children fortunately already have an acceptable command, the children in my family are practically all fluent.

@helainked lol. I was using it to compare about you complaining that people think Spain is in Mexico. At least they know Spain exists. Lol.
