I got tagged by @jjtjames5x on this. I am modifying the rules a bit and putting my top 3 answers for each question if I can. Everybody seems to struggle with responding with just 1 answer.

1. Favorite Band/Artist?
(Lawrence) Gowan has always been my favorite musician, ever since I was a little kid. Then I would say Megadeth and Alice in Chains. Funny thing is, I got into Megadeth because of Alice in Chains, and I got in to Alice in Chains because of Megadeth. I’ll tell the story some day.

2. Favorite song (All-time or Recent)?
All-time: "Hard to Handle" covered by The Black Crowes, "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf, and "Just Another Day" by John Mellencamp.
Recent: "That's How we Ballin" by T-Pain and Snoop Dog (and a nice tribute to Pee-Wee Herman (video below)), "Dogs of Chernobyl" by Megadeth, "Woman" by Emmit Fenn.

3. Favorite Album?
"18 til I Die" by Bryan Adams, "The System has Failed" by Megadeth, and "Slang" by Def Leppard.

4. First Concert?
My First Concert was shortly after my 18th birthday, in my home town, and it was Gowan. Then I saw Def Leppard (with Tripping Daisy). My third was Megadeth (and I have since seen them in concert 13 more times).

5. Last Concert you went to?
My very last concert was a small, local, Bon Jovi cover band in town, called The Runaways. Prior to that, I had a long non-concert run. But, the one just before that dry spell was Rock Vegas and included 23 bands over 2 days. This included: Adelitas Way, P.O.D., Staind, Rob Zombie, Art of Dying, Buckcherry, Godsmack, Stone Sour (was just Corey Taylor solo acoustic), Marilyn Manson, Deuce, Papa Roach, Redlight King, and All that Remains.

6. Favorite Concert?
My top three, in order, are Rammstein (Edmonton), Lenny Kravitz (Calgary), BB King (Calgary).

7. Who do you wish you could see live?
I am sorry that I missed seeing Alice in Chains with Layne Staley (although I saw them without him, opening for Metallica, and with Days of the New, in an outdoor concert in Vancouver). Nirvana. And, strangely, Garth Brooks.

8. What music did you grow up with?
Well, this one is tricky. My mom liked old classic songs, but not necessarily bands. Think of the old "Solid Gold Hits" tapes, with songs like "Lollipop," "Mr. Sandman," and "Yakkity Yak." Dad was into Neil Diamond, the Monkees, the Eagles, and the Beach Boys. My oldest sister was deeply into 70's and 80's Hair Rock, like Madonna, Poison, and Kiss. My middle sister was into top pop hits, like NKOTB and Shania Twain. So, naturally, I got in to Heavy Metal. Lol.

9. How do you find new music?
Anywhere and everywhere. YouTube, Social Media, Radio, movies, friends, lovers... you name it. They have started to put ads on some of my games that are just full music videos and I'll watch them once or twice, too.

10. How do you listen to music?
On my computer at home, from a USB stick in my van, I carry around an old obsolete iPhone that is just full of music, CDs, YouTube, live, on the radio. Pretty much everything except Spotify.

11. Any new Albums you're lookin forward to?
Nope. I take'em as I discover 'em.
-
12. Favorite Movie soundtrack?
I can't share my top two, due to future Tip Engagement posts, but my third is "The Crow." In fact, a song from that soundtrack is the inspiration for the name of my ongoing zombie story here on SG, After the Flesh (My life with The Thrill Kill Kult).

13. Last one, for fun: Do you like to sing when you listen to music?
Yes. But I suck.
