Sometimes, not often enough these days, I go on cooking binges. Call it self-love, gluttony or “meal prep 😂,” I tend to make a lot of food so that I have to eat too much. Saturday night, around 10:30pm, the mood struck. These were the results.
Top - Italian Herb Bread (in my Bread Maker)
Next - True homemade pan“cakes” (about 1” thick) from scratch, cooked in a mix of bacon grease and margarine.
Scrambled eggs w/milk, pepper, Hickory BBQ sauce, poured into a frying pan that was searing Cuddy Montreal Smoked Turkey Breast in margarine, and shredded marble cheese melted on.
Alongside maple bacon, green grapes, blueberries and bananas. I interspersed these between salads and healthy eating for the next few says, don’t worry. But I did take the “I’m cooking” tax and some of the food didn’t make it into the pictures. 😁
I had an audience that patiently watched me cook.
Until the bread got sliced and Buddy had to be restrained…
