man, finding a place to rent is hard these days. Our lease ends in october and me and my roommates are trying to find a place for the 3 of us and their dog Buddha. So far no luck. this morning we went and checked out a pretty nice house, kinda small, but with a nice landscaped yard and looked good for us. But there were a shit ton of others looking at the place during this open house. hopefully most were just looky loos. there were some slightly older couples with kids i was surprised to be competing with. i just hope that we can find a place before its too late, but i guess we would have to. it would be weird to be homeless, maybe.
Its an overcast day so far, blah. I'm going to go play some soccer with some friends later today. that should be fun. we shall see.
more open houses next weekend. i went and looked at a house in SW portland yesterday. fuck it was in a hard place to bike to. but i found it. and it was in a nice area, but only once you were there. so many cars going by. surrounded by major thorough fares.
blah. blah. blah. we need a house to rent. blah. blah. blah. my mom's 60th birthday is coming up next moth. i will have to come up with something super amazing for her. anyone have ideas?

I, too, will be on the search for a house soon. I'm excited because I really want a house, but not, because it's kinda depressing how expensive it is these days.
