I just got home and am pretty exhausted. I didn't do much on Saturday but I went to have diner at the Gipsy Den in Santa Ana. The band, which was playing that night was kinda boring so I didn't stay there too long. After that, I went to check out a happening in some art gallery nearby. The show was a mix of live music, video and painting. It was interesting, but the psychedelic music played by a hippie-type band didn't really go anywhere.
On Sunday morning, I went camping with some of my friends at Joshua Tree. It was fun. We did some climbing and got really drunk at night. As I was expecting, some of them drove me nuts as they kept arguing with each other about pretty much anything. 3 out 4 are pretty annoying and whenever they are together they get on each other's nerves. Anyway. On Monday morning we went to drive around the park and after lunch we drove back to OC.
Here is another problem I found out about on Friday: Google changed its algorythm a week ago and, as a result, my webzine took a plundge, traffic dropping by 60% as my top ranked pages suddenly disappeared from the search results. Looks like some of them are back up though and like a lot of people, I suspect that there was some kind of technical snaffu. Hopefully things will get back to normal.
