Mercredi
I took the Deadly Departed Tour in Hollywood last weekend, which was bizarre and creepy enough to be a lot of fun. It's definitively not a touristic thing--you get to see the Charles Manson massacre house--yes the one where Reznor recorded The Downward Spiral--Bela Lugosi's last apartment, which is even more depressing than his "film location" house in Tim Burton's Ed Wood.
I just received the new Billy Idol and his punk roots are still alive, especially since his guitarist is back. To me it sounds more punk than any of these new pseudo-punk bands you can hear on K-Roq. I hope he'll stop by Jonesy's and that they will play something together on Indie. The album surprisingly ends on a country note. I only regret the presence of his ridiculous Christmas tree song. Oh and I've also listended to the new New Order album and am sad to say that it's pretty lame.
I'm going to the Razzies ceremony on Saturday night, which is gonna be a blast for its 25th anniversary. I hope all the losers I've voted for will win--yeah Catwoman and Battlefield Earth among others.
I need to decide if I'll go to Coachella; I really wanna see Bahaus, The Chemical Brothers, Doves and the Raveonettes.
Fin du Journal
