Aux sombres heros de l'amer..
Even though I haven't done much this weekend, I got a lot of things done. On Saturday night, saw my ex and we went to that cool art gallery/coffee house in Santa Ana. Talked to the owner and I might use the place to shoot my TV show and organize private screenings of all these films that won't be released in the US because they are too controversial.
I also got my accreditation for the Latino film festival coming up on Friday in Hollywood and got a ticket for the Sonic Youth show in Pomona.

If I don't get a chance with all the moving you can rub it in my face how good they were live!!!!
Chuck Close is a contemporary american painter/printmaker who does large-scale portraits. He's an incredibly humble and down-to-earth guy (need I say, this is a needle in the haystack in the art community) who's always looking to help out the underdog. He woke up, in a freak occurence, paralyzed one day from the neck down, and now he paints these 10 foot tall portraits with a paintbrush contraption somehow tied to his arm every day while listening to old old old muddy waters type blues tunes. I think his presence on the whole just struck me as amazing. Look into his stuff, he's quite amazing. If you're a warhol fan esp, you can certainly appreciate him.
so what types of films are you working on right now? Where do you get your inspiration? It sounds like you are making a lot of headway lately! Does any particular producer/directors work specifically interest you? I'm not a gigantic film buff, but i know my peas from my carrots.
Now, as for this most humbling moment business.... kaguthri@edisto.cofc.edu. Curiosity killed the cat ~
