Today I went to spend the day at the beach in San Onofre--the last trail for those who know. It was a lot of fun doing nothing and swim in the waves, as I got stuck working on my laptop on Saturday and will have to do the same thing tomorrow. My friends couldn't make so I went there by myself; the crowd was kind of old so I didn't get to meet anybody. For once I didn't come back sunburned, so I won't have to look like a lezard for the rest of the week.

A cousin's neighbor used to put a firecracker between his front teeth and light the fuse. I never witnessed this idiocy, but my cousin says the kid said the explosion, "felt cold".
