Went to see Velvet Revolver at the Wiltern on Tuesday.
I guess there was an opening band but nobody seemed to care as we were all in the lobby watching the game.
So the band had to wait untill the end of the game to finally take the stage.
Then came the sonic assault lead by a vibrant Scott Weiland and guitar god Slash. Some of the songs were a mess but that's the energy that really mattered. Weiland & Slash are 2 of the last rock icons, at least in LA, and seeing them on stage was an event in itself. They even played some Guns & STP songs.
