okay... soI've been thinking about this for a while now...
you know Ireally think that Beyonce has J-Lo beat in all departments.
First, she has more talent, better singer, better dancer.
She's better looking. Her booty is way out there. It's just as big and better looking.
Also her boyfriend Jay-Z is freakier looking than that guy J-Lo is with too.... she has her beat in that department too.
Sin City is coming out this week it looks good.
Frank Miller used to be one of my favorite comic book artists back when he was drawing Daredevil back in the '80s.
Then he did the "Dark Knight" graphic novel which I think gave partial for the first batman movie dark theme.
I just found that not only did he write and direct this movie but he had been helping writing other movies.
I think I saw him at a comic-con once. Another person I saw at a comic-con was Matt Groening, Simpsons creator, way back.
This was before the simpsons even started when he was just doing his "life in hell" cartoon strip for the LA and San Diego Reader.
He was a cool guy. He signed a book with a simple one page drawing.
I saw another oscar contender movie today, Finding Neverland.
That made it all five nominees that I've seen I think.
Finding Neverland was pretty good.
Well, without doubt Million Dollar Baby was the least worthy and most overrated. Everyone was playing a part that they'd already played before. Eastwood played the gruff old guy for the 100th time. Freeman was the wise old black man once again. Just really cliched and not authentic.
Aviator was interesting in a way, but DiCaprio was just too much of a lightweight or something. It wasn't really that engaging.
Scorsese peaked about 25 years ago.
I think either Sideways or Ray was the best of them. Sideways was funny in the same way that's funny in real life. Real characters and you were never sure where it was going to go. Very good writing.
Ray was good too but I haven't seen the whole thing yet.
Okay, that fills the random rambling quota of the week....
I'll have to stop being a boring twit and update my profile.
