It's getting more urgent to start looking for another job.
The A-hole boss said today, "I don't care if we have to start working Thanksgiving and Christmas if we have to."
This is the guy who's spent no time at all getting to know us, what we've done or how anything works. In two weeks he already knows more than we know after more than two years.
What's worse is the guy is openly planning on moving the office to San Jose -- where he lives.
What a great setup. Just get a job being a slave driver in another city. If the slaves, er, employees, somehow get it done then get al the credit and have the office move to San Jose. If it doesn't get done then it just shows that we aren't any good and they need to go to the Bay Area where all the good talent is.
Anyway I guess the point is not to get too hung up on it.
I'd so love to just quit and take a long break.
I'm too old to do anything like that anymore.
I want to work at a big company where there is no drama, no hype, no overworked schedules, no BS promises of when they supposedly make it big.
I think ultimately being in a position where I have no boss would be best. Yeah, right everyone wants that though.
Until then, as my man ChuckD and FlavorFlav would say...
Lemme hear you say
Fight the power
Fight the power
Fight the power
Fight the powers that be
