If the blur of gut-dropping churning moments, inexplicable impulses, reliefs and failures of the previous week weren't there then the corresponding staring into the screen trying to make sense of it all moments wouldn't be necessary either.
It's a decompression ritual of searching, editing, imagining.
Then finally this is the slow inconspicuous dribble output of it all.

A burdensom tormentor will be gone in less than two weeks.
I will acquire a domicile.
The clear decision to keep someone in my life or not will be more urgent.
Also, I'll be in Portland from Tuesday to Friday of next week having some
nerdly fun and more importantly get a chance to check out a new city and get away from it all for a while.
Yeah, it's pretty momentous.
(More precisely I'll be staying at the luxurious
Travelodge City Center in downtown Portland from 7/27 - 7/30.)
