san francisco was wonderful.

prom itself was so crowded and loud it was not conducive to deep conversation. for awhile i sat up on the second floor and pretended to be a cool kid, but eventually i discovered that if i went outside with the smokers i could actually talk.

maybe i should have gone to that after party thing too, but at that point most people were way past drunk, and i'm not so into that. although watching drunk people when you are sober is pretty entertaining.

i didn't get to hang out with the people i wanted to, as much as i wanted to. somehow i could not escape the seattle kids. not that i don't love them, it's just that i see them all the time back home, and when i'm at something like prom i'd like to hang out with people i don't get the chance to see as often.

i still got to meet some new people, and had lots of fun. next year i think i will fly, and (hopefully) bring a date



ps i am a big loser and took no pictures at all, so all you people that did better post them!
