i love agatha christie books! i know that is so last century, but they are fun. plus they are so short i can read one in two days. or one day if i stay up all night and drag around like a slug the next day. i am trying to read them all in chronological order.
i am almost done with lord edgeware dies (1934). that should be #13, but somehow i skipped the seven dials mystery (1929). i read a few chapters and then lost it somewhere under the bed i think, and was too lazy to dig it back out so i just moved on to the next one.
peril at end house (1932) is my favourite so far. maybe the murder of roger ackroyd (1926) would have been, but everyone spoiled the ending for me before i read it.
the bad thing is we have a new person at my work from belgium. i want to make hercule poirot jokes about little grey cells or moostaches or something of the sort, but i just don't think he would appreciate it. so instead every time he talks to me i start to snicker and he probably thinks i'm a total bitch.

I would think you'd have melted already in this heat.

Yeah even the worst Herzog is pretty great.
