i was supposed to be in north carolina tonight, but there was some sort of air conditioning failure, so i am not. my suitcase might be though.
i think people would not be so grouchy about plane issues if there would just be some way to know *before* you were actually at the airport. i mean, i don't want to go to north carolina, i'd much rather be at home watching west wing in my jammas. i'd be perfectly fine with getting a phone call 'hey your plane's broke, might as well sleep in, see you tomorrow'.
i left my house at 10:30 and got back at 3:30. so that's five billable hours, $132 worth of towncar, no mascara and i had to eat old crumbly airport scones for lunch. couldn't they try out the air conditioning a few hours in advance just to check it out?
