alright this may end up a little long, but bare with me. theres a point. i promise (but if you don't want to wait for it, you can just skip to the last section).
thursday night i had one of the very bestest days ever. it restored my faith in strangers, boys, and humanity in general.
so i got off work early, didnt feel like going home. decided to go over to the auraface caf, where rick had his show last month. i went to see his work, and really liked the place (plus i met a cute and interesting barista, who made me really yummy iced hot chocolate, who i secretly hoped would be working).
got there (no barista) sat down and read awhile. and then he came in! even better, he wasnt working so i could actually sit and chat with him without the line behind me getting pissed (like previously). we talked for awhile, another cute boy showed up, sat down, more talking. plans we made for all of us getting together later for food.
we did. ate pho cute boy #2 tricked me into eating something terribly spicy by calling it plum sauce. not plum sauce. i almost coughed up a lung. they fought a fierce battle to get me both a fork and water. much appreciated.
we walked around broadway, ended up back at the auraface. talked awhile. showed them sg (i never stop!). cute boy #2 needed to finish moving, so he was going to leave,,, but cute boy #1 and i offered to help. this resulted in random packing and pushing a cart full of crap through capital hill in the middle of the night, past a gay bar and drunks. we played video games (cute boy #1 kicked my ass, and its not fucking fair!), ate hot dogs from one of those carts, went to qfc @ 3am, ate bad popcorn, blah blah blah.
it was so late that the busses werent running, so i was going to have to take a cab. cute boy #1 offered to let me stay at his house. so i did. he gave me sweats to wear, and we both slept in his big comfy bed. in the morning we took the bus together as far as possible, he went to work, i went home.
there is a point to all thisand its that this is the best time that ive ever had in my whole life without sex or alcohol being involved.
i love random people, but often it doesn't turn out well. this time, i put forth the effot to talk to someone new, and they were receptive and nice. now i hope they'll be my friends forever and ever!
sometimes i get down feeling like people just hang out with me because they want something, and that im not very interesting on my own. it makes me really happy that i can meet new people that are wonderful, have a good time just talking and hanging out, and not feel pressured or obligated.
ps wow, that really was long and rambley... but i never have long journal entries, so you can deal with it just this once.
pps and now he's a member! go say hi to cute boy #1

how's taking the bus around Seattle area? it looked pretty simple the last time i was there..i guess anything's better than Detroit's public transportation. i think it's the worst in the nation actually.
there was a time when i had to take it too....(memories)
ohh yeah, got my ticket all booked.
i will be coming into town Sept 6th (that's a saturday) and DJing that night at the Alibi Room..
i went to their site today and it looks like a really cool place...i had fun at the market the last time, but didn't really frequent any bars there or whatever...
i will be around the rest of the week as well....more later..just wanted to tell you that..
